Jane was a late convert to a career in law. After reading law at university, she worked for a management consultancy that advised CEOs facing hostile takeovers and then in the shoe industry (working with Jimmy Choo). During this time Jane was struck by the need for high quality and practical legal advice for businesses and employees, so she completed her legal training and worked in London for 10 years in a leading firm, advising a huge range of clients from national newspapers to conservation charities on employment matters.

Jane loves helping her clients to untangle complicated situations by applying the law and good commercial judgment, enabling her clients to reach the best possible outcomes and to get back to running their business and living their lives in the best possible way.

Jane has particular experience in working with clients in the hospitality, education, charitable sectors and with SMEs across all industries. She also regularly advises individuals on discrimination issues, tribunal disputes and negotiated exits from their employment.

That high quality advice can help prevent disputes for both employers and employees and can make a positive impact on peoples’ lives. When things do go wrong it is important to hold those involved to account.
