Journey to law
Jessica studied Law at the University of Sussex and stayed on in Brighton to complete her Master’s in International Human Rights Law.
Jessica’s love of law was born from a desire to help others and having a profound interest in understanding different points of view.
Whilst studying her Master’s degree, Jessica worked with an international minority rights charity on a research project on indigenous rights and the carbon trading market. She also volunteered her time with a refugee charity, teaching one-to-one English language classes throughout the pandemic.
Jessica’s first experience in employment law was working in Employment Tribunal litigation in a Claimant law firm. She joined Jones Chase due to the variety of work the team are involved with and the dynamic and friendly working environment.
Amazing thank you so much for all your help, support and advice team.Really grateful and extremely happy with where we have landed. Harriet and Jess, you’ve made a tough situation so much better, and it’s been such a relief to be able to rely on your expertise and support through the whole journey.
@Dean you’ve got two superstars on your team.
Thanks again.
Employment law pervades almost every aspect of an individual’s life and I believe a happy working environment is fundamental to wider wellbeing. I enjoy learning about different fields of work and finding creative legal solutions based on each client’s specific professional and personal needs. I love that every case requires tailored advice and unique strategy.
