Journey to law

Paula began working within the finance division of a hotel when she left school, before responding to an advert and taking up a trainee role within the accounts team of a law firm.

She prides herself on being meticulously organised and has the ability to juggle many things at once, so immediately loved the variety of work that comes with being part of a busy legal accounts team and taking ownership of the different tasks that this entails.

Paula quickly discovered a sense of pride in supporting the lawyers with their work that can change people’s lives and likes being a trusted and reliable member of the team that makes this happen.

Paula has over 30 years’ of experience working as a key member of a legal accounts team and ultimately became the chief legal cashier of a large, national law firm, responsible for managing a team.

She joined Jones Chase in 2019.

I’ve discovered that I really enjoy being an integral member of a team whose work truly makes a difference to the lives of others. It is a rare privilege.

There is a great team spirit within Jones Chase.  It is a lovely firm to work for and I like the team dynamic and atmosphere within the firm.  I feel that I am a valued member of the team and able to truly contribute to the success of the firm.

Upon joining I realised that Jones Chase is driven by good values and a strong moral compass.  How the firm treats its staff very much reflects how it treats its clients and it is nice to be part of a firm that looks after people.

I take pride in being a reliable member of the team and supporting the firm’s lawyers with their work.  I like knowing that they can depend on me and enjoy being a part of a firm that is growing.
